Inspired by the ancient anti-war Greek tragedy The Trojan Women, director Tannis Kowalchuk is creating Scattered Seeds of Troy, a new, devised performance in collaboration with Costanza Bugiani (Kassandra), Hilary Dennis (Helen), Ginny Hack (Andromache), and Kowalchuk (Hecuba). The production team also includes musician Char McCutcheon, lighting design and production manager Calvin Anderson, costume designer Kar Flood, and stage manager Debra Thomas.

Kowalchuk and team will launch the creative process with the questions: What seeds does each woman take with them when forced to leave their land? How do we find hope in a hopeless situation? How is human and seed migration vital to evolution, survival, and life?
